About us
Nisus Aerodesign team is a competition team that works with projects in the aeronautical engineering area. Our main objective is to design and build a radio-controlled aircraft capable of flying carrying cargo inside and participate annually in the SAE Brasil AeroDesign Competition.
The team was established in August 2010 by students of the course in aerospace engineering of Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (Santa Catarina´s federal university) at Joinville Technology Center and despite the focus on aeronautical, our members also have to deal with marketing, fundraising, and management.
Mission: “Encourage the development of activities related to aero design that increases the interaction between students, aiming at the design of competitive aircraft and the formation of solid knowledge between theory and practice.” It is verified that the objective of the team meets the mission of our university, aiming at the quality in the professional and personal formation.
Vision: “To be a national reference in the development of aeronautical model projects, innovating and providing the formation of professionals with market differential”.
